Hanulliver's Travels

I went to go see Gulliver's Travels today with my cousins and brother. Kind of like a teenage outing, y'know? My usually cheap brother surprisingly bought popcorn lol. The movie was pretty good, we all laughed at some parts and said "What the heck, that's so retarded" in others. After the movie, we walked a little at Downtown Disney because there is a movie theater there and it's really close to my house. I call my mom so she can pick us up. Turns out she was cleaning the bathroom and would be picking us up soon. Soon turned into about 30 minutes, hah. So we were waiting outside just talking and stuff. My brother goes and pretends like he was going to walk home. (I knew he was bluffing lol) While me and my cousins are laughing at him a guy comes up and asks if we have any cigarettes. Idk about you, but I do NOT look like I would have cigarettes. Maybe like an 11 year old, but not like a smoker. This is only height and face wise. So my cousins and I are like, " uh no", and he walks by leaving us all "Well that was random".My bro comes back and my mom comes like 10-20minutes later. We leave and get pizza. The end if my outing :) I liked Tron and True Grit better than Gulliver, but ehhh...it was still ok. Bug-bye now! See? This blog is my I can talk as much as I want blog lol

The Day the World Was Silent: Chapter 1

13 years later.....

December climbed up the sycamore tree as swiftly as a monkey. "Careful, honey!", Naomi shouted from down below her eyes filled with worry. The young girl laughed, "I'm fine, Grandma Nomi." December crawled on her stomach to reach the things that she had been wanting to get for ages. Two golden daggers that had a design that looked like the moon and stars etched on the handles were stuck in to wood on the highest branch. "Reach for it...reach for it!", December said to herself, "You can do it." Naomi even older then she had been tapped her cane on the tree as if to tell it to take care of her charge. December's small hands groped for the two daggers, Naomi looked away and shut her eyes. "I got them!", The 13 year old shouted in triumph. There was a crack and the branch gave way. December went hurtling to the ground while Naomi screamed in horror.  "Lefall donle tme!", December yelled in a strange language, the twin daggers glowed and turned into a glider. She sailed to the ground borne gently by the wind to the ground. Naomi gaped and December glanced at her, her ice blue eyes glowing, "That was so cool!" Her expression turned serious and she ran her hand through her sandy hair, "Naomi." Naomi shut her mouth and gave a nod telling her to continue. December swallowed and looked at Naomi, her eyes hard, "What am I."

The Day the World Was Silent Intro

There will be a day
When everyone is silent
No words to say
On the day the world is silent

Naomi traced the words that were burned into the wood of the prophecy tree, her heart yearning for it to happen in her lifetime. "I wish I could be here on that day," She whispered to the tree as if it could hear her. The wind blew causing Naomi's scarf to flutter and the Prophecy tree to creak and sway. "Go home." A voice said from behind the old woman, "Your wish has been granted." Naomi turned around to see a bearded man in rags that looked like they were made of tree bark. Her tired brown eyes widened,"Th-, you're the." The man smiled at her kindly. "Go home." He repeated. Naomi gave a frenzied nod and hobbled away as fast as she could. Naomi turned, questions swirling around her mind. There was no one there. Old Naomi went home to her little cottage in the forest clearing. Opening her door and walking inside her kitchen, Naomi thought about her experience. What did it all mean? She shook off the questions in her head and busied herself to cooking. The scent of the sweet bread that she had just baked made her mouth water.Naomi started to cut the fragrant bread. The sound of a baby crying made her stop short. The sound seemed to be coming from her bedroom. Naomi stumbled into her tiny room, her mouth fell open in surprise. There was a baby, a tiny baby with a shock of pale hair and slightly pointed ears.Naomi took the child into her arms and gazed into her ice blue eyes, "You my dear December, are the answer to an old woman's prayer."
