It's All How You See It: Chapter 4

I stepped away, blushing. I was never the romantic sort of girl, which is pretty sad actually. "Let's um, go out.", I mumbled. "Ok!", Steven said with a smile. (^.^ <-----His face lol)

I accidentally left him...woops. "Um, honey?", I heard Steven say. "Sorry hon!", I yelled from inside the taxi.

I told the taxi to stop at the place where it all began. Except back then I only had eyes for that dirty dog Aaron Cooper. Steven creeped me out at the time with all his staring.

"I'm finally here.", Steven huffed. Shoot, did he run here? (O.O <----Dusk's face)

I looked down, "I'm sorry, Stevie...."  He gave me a gentle smile, "I'll always come after you even if you leave me in the dust."

What else could I do but kiss him?

I got out my guitar out and started playing Bless You by John Lennon, 

"Bless you wherever you are

Windswept child on a shooting star

Restless spirits depart

Still we're deep in each other's heart"

"Some people say it's over

Now that we've spread our wings

The hollow ring is only last year's echo", I sang.

Steven took out a bass and started accompanying me.

"Bless you whoever you are

Holding her now, be warm and kindhearted

And remember though love is strange

Now and forever our love will remain," I finished. 

"Bravo, keep going!", Steven said while he strummed on the deep-voiced bass. 

"Bakin' rocks in the hot sun

"I needed the money 'cause I had none

I left my baby and it feels so bad

I guess the race is run

(Dusk looks so evil there, I love it!)

"I miss my baby and I miss my fun

I left my baby and it feels so bad

I sat down, out of breath from all the singing. "Aw, you were doing great!", Steven told me. "Great or no, I'm pooped out...", I grumbled.

After resting for a bit, Steven and I walked to the park. "I guess our children will play here.", Steven said surveying the playground. "Yup.", I replied simply.

There was a dumpling of a kid by the swing. He was a little butterball, that one. Steven introduced himself, "I'm Steven Cooper, pleased to meet you." The kid grunted, "Harry Plopper." 

Steven nudged me and I attempted to be friendly, "I'm Dusk Cooper, you little piggy-boy." Steven cringed. 

"Did you just call me 'Piggy-boy'?", Harry asked me, with a disbelieving expression on his plump face. "You darn right I did, fatty-kid.", I smirked, my mean streak coming back from it's long leave of absence.

"You are so immature, as if those names really mean anything to a man like me.", Harry told me in a lofty tone. I bristled and moved towards him, my fists clenched, "You wanna get your face bashed in, midget?" He snickered, "As if you would hit a child, hah." I gave him a demonic smile, "Don't doubt it, you're very close to an injury."

Steven gently pushed me out of the way and gave the kid a winning smile, "I'm sorry, Harry, my wife is pregnant...." Harry looked from me to Steven, "I can't believe you married that witch." I glared fiercely at him and held up my fists, "You're just asking for a wupping, boy."

Harry paled,"You wouldn't actually hurt me...right?" I gave him a scathing glare, "How much do you wanna bet, punk." Steven shook his head and looked defeated. Harry fled after a few minutes of me staring at him.

I gave an evil smile, "Noob."

Later at home, I had finally calmed down. My stormy blue eyes had turned into a sea of calm.

"Honey...can't you control your anger and not burst out at children?" Steven asked me. 

At the moment I had been planning to raise my children as my little minions, "They'll be my little criminals, muahaha..." Steven stared  at me, "Um, Dusk..."

"What? Sorry...", I mumbled. Steven laughed quietly. 

Steven turned on the TV and Aaron's face popped up on the screen. We were silent and stared at the screen. 

"Are you ok?" Steven said after a while.

I sat on the couch, "Perfectly fine." I can say truthfully that I am OVER Aaron Cooper.

Later that night, I woke up with a twinge of pain. "Steven!", I whispered. He started to get out of bed, "Whaaat...?"

The twinge turned into a roaring, whole mess of hurt. It was awful, why did I ever want kids. "You're doing great." Steven assured me like the great pillar of calm he always is. 

There was a burst of sparkles and my son was born.

"George Washington Cooper", I said smiling, "G.W...."

"Hey, he's cute!", I squealed. Steven was looking at G.W. with a proud expression on his face. I could tell he felt that G.W. was like his own son.

G.W.'s babyhood went by in an instant. He was such a sweet, adorable boy. I was pretty awkward around him so I hauled him off to Steven usually.

Steven was such a good dad, he makes a way better parent than me. Will my kids hate me for focusing on my career because I don't feel comfortable around them? I hope not, I hope they know how much I really love them....I'll just have to wait and see.
